In a chance encounter heading downtown on Friday night, I met these two NYC fashion gems on their way out to dinner. Clearly, these women had great fashion sense and their choice of shoes said it all. One woman was wearing these fabulous black stretch shaft boots and the other a classic pair of open toe pumps. Designed by Bakers, the "Helen" design boots feature a flattering fitted shaft, stitching detail on the shaft top, a 1 inch hidden platform, raised detail on the upper and heel back, full length instep zipper, and a nice 4 1/2 inch heel that gave an amazing line to the boots. These were a classic Bakers design!! She was showcasing the boots with a very cute pleated mini skirt, which brought the focus right to these boots. The second woman was wearing one of the most classic open toe pump designs. Designed by Max Azria for BCBGirls, the "Ariel" peep toe pump is a always a sure winner. This design features a nicely squared toe, open toe, a flattering step line, a high heel back, and a 3 1/2 inch covered heel. These pumps are AWESOME!!! Like her friend, the second woman was showcasing her classic pumps by wearing mid calf leggings, which also brought focus directly to her fantastic shoes.
