There are different types and forms of fragrance each with different levels of potency, quality, scent and of course price.
Different Types and Forms of Perfumes:
Pure Perfume
This form of perfume is rarely sold to the public mainly because it is way too expensive and very potent so it is easy to overdo.
Perfume Oil
This is another form of perfume, which is similar to actual perfumes, but it is oil based versus alcohol based. Perfume oil is a preferred choice by people who have dry skin. This form of perfume is also sometimes made into a solid form by adding some melted beeswax, which creates a waxy substance that can be rubbed on the skin. Shop cheap perfume oils. Eau du Cologne and Eau de Toilette
Eau du Cologne and Eau de Toilette is a form of fragrance that is less potent than perfume and has a lighter scent. It is less expensive than perfume because it has less percentage of perfume oils, with Eau de Cologne having 5-15% essential oils and Eau de Toilette having 8 to 15% oils. Originally, Eau du Cologne was term that referred to a specific citrus-floral blend made in Cologne, Germany. Eau du Cologne has a lighter fragrance quality, was less robust and pure than perfume and is therefore used more liberally.
Eau Du Perfume
Eau Du Perfume is the top of the line and purest form of perfume that is sold. It is 15-30% aromatic and contains actual perfume oils of 8-15%. Eau Du Perfume is the most concentrated form of fragrance and is therefore the most potent and longest lasting, which is why it is so much more expensive than the colognes and oils.
